Today's tip is, what weapon to use on Tanks in Dc Universe:
Now, I know you probably heard or read somewhere, what weapons they prefer, but still don't know what to pick? Well here's the review:
Fire Tank: It's a master tank when it comes to self heals and damage. Fire tank can do massive damage with right weapons if used well, it can even outdps a pure damage dealer if used properly. For PvE the top weapon is Dual Wield. It deals great AoE damage in a short amount of time especially the 9+ hold combo. So stick with that and you won't be dissapointed. And when it comes to PvP, well a tank is always the first one to charge into a fight and since you are fire tank stuns will have little effect on you, but you do want do deal out max damage that's why Hammer is best choice as far as I know. Now I also heard, that Martial Arts are very good so it all depends, if you want to throw you enemies in the air with Hammer or Pin them to the ground with martial arts it's up to you.
Ice Tank: Ice tanks are masters in taking damage and reflecting damage back to the attacker and are best choice for tanking in large group fights. So for, Ice tanks not much changes here I would prefer Dual Wield for PvE as for PvP stick with Martial Arts or Bow... No, bow was not a joke, here's why you see a "noob" player will hit a tank like crazy (easy win for ice tank) but a good player will pay attention to your buffs, which reflect damage back to him, so while he wait, he will try to roll away from you as far as possible, and this is where the bow comes to it's place. Now, a bow has a nice dps and a very powerful combo, which you should spam. I think, the combo is 3x left mouse click + hold left mouse click, this combo will shot 3 normal arrows + 3 super fast arrows and stun your enemy, if blocking.This will make your Ice tank almost unbeatable in many fights.Hope this tips helped in your knowledge with Dc Universe Tanks!
